READY FOR THE DISMOUNT
Still the most inspirational cross video ever….in honor of the Sunday Hurt Uprising that is about to commence.

With a storyline that seems channeled directly from a 14-yr old boy’s right cerebral cortex onto the 8-plex cinema screen (and then to laserdisc!), 1986′s RAD will ignite any latent BMX fantasies that may have been supplanted by Wi games and other modern sports. Pitting Bill Allen’s version of a small town cycling natural against factory rider (and olympian gymnastic) Bart Conner’s entitled variation of The Best Rider In the World, with a little Lori Loughlin thrown in for romantic interest (and one helluva bike dancing scene), RAD is the last cinematic word on classic BMX stunt action.
“I was brought up surrounded by the smell of oil and steel and the sound of machinery.” – Tokyo-born Shinya Kimura, founder of Zero Engineering and now California-based Chabott Engineering uses the motorcycle as his medium of choice.

We’re rather taken with this simple and clever design allowing you to easily convert any hard surface of 24-30mm thickness into an impromptu table. Compliments of Swiss designer Nicola Stäubli. Her work is is worth a look.
51-year old Jeannie Longo motored to her 57th national title yesterday, winning the French national TIme Trial in Chantonnay. The feisty Madame Longo, regularly beating fields of women half her age, can claim the most career victories of any cyclist in history (over 900!). Her list of titles include: an Olympic gold medal, 2 silvers, 3 Tour de France wins, 38 world records, 57 national titles and 13 world titles. More importantly, her team kits have always been most stylish. Le style et la victoire de la Jeannie!
Fantastic tribute to some of the most stylish album covers of all time. Filmed by Bante, produced by Filmatindustriali
